97% of the earth's water is ocean water and undrinkable and unusable for most culinary and commercial purposes. Of the 3% of the world's fresh water, two-thirds is locked in glaciers and polar ice caps and of the remaining 1%, about half is located beneath the earth's surface.
Rivers and lakes contain approximately 1/50th of one percent of the earth's water and a significant portion of this "freshwater" is now contaminated and severely polluted. And our underground water is now becoming polluted as well.
Continually, on any given day, more than one-half of the earth's human population is ill, with the majority of these cases caused by water-borne contaminants
Many countries throughout the world, not just third world countries, have inadequate supplies of pure water and a complete lack of treatment facilities. And so it is becoming clear that clean, pure drinking water is quickly becoming the most highly prized resource on this planet .. And that new technologies are needed in every segment of the water treatment industry from agriculture and horticulture to public water supplies, industrial waste and sewage treatment, in order to supplement dwindling supplies.
These systems MUST be environmentally-friendly and rely on methods and processes that are not chemically based.
Air to Water products are best described as atmospheric water generators
that extract PURE drinking water from the air.
Air to Water generating machines use technology developed and patented by Worldwide Water, Inc.
The machine first pulls air through an electrostatic filter, removing 93% of all air borne particles. As the machine collects the water it drops into a collection tray and immediately passes into Ultraviolet (UV) light, where the water stays in contact with UV rays for approximately 30 minutes. This kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria in the water.
The water is then pumped through a sediment screen into a 24 volt water pump, and back through 2 solid carbon block 1 micron water filters, NSF 53 approved, which removes 99.9% of any volatile organic chemicals (VOC's) that may be in the water. It is also filtered through our proprietary Ultra-filtration (UF) with membrane pore size of 0.015 micron to remove virtually all bacteria and common viruses. The water then goes through a half calcite, half GAC mineral additive where it is then pumped into a reservoir tank. The water is then recycled every hour through the UV and back into the reservoir tank. The water is then chilled or heated and dispensed to the consumers.
The Home-Office Upright Model is called Dolphin™/Dragonfly™ .. T16 Model and produces between 16 and 38 Litres (4 to 10 gallons) of pure drinking water every 24 hours, depending on the model and relative humidity in the air.
This office model dispenses water with suspended solids more than 65 times lower than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard. Turbidity is over 60 times lower than the WHO standard and residual chlorine is more than 100 times lower.
The Bench Top model is called Dragonfly2 .. M18 Model and produces between 3 and 20 Litres (3/4 to 5 US gallons) per day depending on the humidity in the air. Electronic sensors placed within, ensures that the machine stops operation once the tank is full.
Both Air to Water generators cleanse the air as they produce water by using an electrostatic air filter, which removes 93% of all airborne particles.
All Air to Water generating machines are energy and cost efficient. Studies have determined that the cost of producing water with the water generating machines is $0.04 to $0.13 per Litre.
These results are dependent upon location, as electricity rates vary, along with humidity and temperature. These variables all factor into the cost of operation.

An explanation as to how it works
1. Air is pulled through an Air Filter, removing most airborne contaminants and particles.
2. Vapor in the air is condensed into a Water Collection Tank.
3. Built in tap water pipe-in feature provides users the flexibility of using the Aqualife1 as a water purification system.
4. The resulting water is then sent through our Proprietary Filtration System to remove most of the extremely fine waterborne contaminants including bacteria, viruses, parasites and other disease causing agents.
5. UV Lamp aids in disinfection process.
6. Re-circulation cycle to enhance water purity & freshness.
The Technology Driven by AquovatorTM
During Aquovation™ water is extracted from naturally present moisture in the air, treated with UV technology and circulated continually through the proprietary Hyflux™ Filtration Cartridge (HFC) to attain its purest state.
Engineered on Hyflux™ proprietary membrane and ultraviolet disinfection technologies, Aquovate™ technology is optimized to remove a wide range of contaminants, including chemicals, odors, sediment and other particulate matter.
Ultra Violet Technology
Ultraviolet treatment, in most cases is the most important step in the any purification process. The Aquovation™ technology first exposes water to 2 rounds of intense dosage of UV light which acts as a highly effective germicidal sterilant and destroys viruses, bacteria, fungi, algae and protozoa.
UV light destroys a microorganism by scrambling its DNA structure
The cells are rendered sterile and cannot reproduce

Ultra Violet Wavelengths
Ultraviolet light happens all around us naturally in sunlight. The light is divided by wavelengths into three bands: A, B and C. Out of these three wavelengths, UVC is the shortest, and therefore the most powerful light. Short wave ultraviolet in the region of 253.7 nanometers is lethal to microorganisms including bacteria, protozoa, viruses, moulds, yeasts, nematode eggs and algae.
Ultra Violet Purification
Treating water with UV technology is preferred over the conventional method of using chemicals like chlorine. UV light destroys micro-organisms by fragmenting their DNA structures, rendering them sterile and unable to multiply.
During Aquovation™, UV disinfection actually occurs three times to ensure the purity and freshness of Aquovated water. Free from nitrate and chloride, Aquovated water is ideal for children and babies.
The Gurgle™ .. F18 model is another product in the Air2Water range
Although strictly speaking it is not an Air to Water machine
As it purifies water coming from a water faucet/tap.
Gurgle filters use Hyflux Proprietary Ultra-filtration Membrane Technology which is capable of removing many chemicals including chlorine which can be linked to cancer, liver and kidney damage.
Gurgle can reduce lindane, asbestos, particulates, rust, sand, sediment, atrazine, benzene and TTHMs, whilst retaining essential minerals.
Gurgle reduces turbidity in water linked to disease-causing organisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites. GURGLE can also reduce microbiological cysts, cryptosporidium and giardia as well as viruses such as rotavirus and poliovirus.
The Gurgle POU (point of use) system is the world’s first and only Ultra-Filtration (UF) membrane POU device. It uses activated carbon and UF filtration to provide the purest water available from a POU device connected to a tap/faucet. One cartridge can effectively filter and purity up to 1000 liters (265 gallons) of tap water.
The Gurgle dispenses water with suspended solids nearly 15 times lower than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard. Turbidity is 55 times lower and residual chlorine is 25 times lower than the WHO standard.
